Project 365 ~ Week 32
Wasn’t it Sunday just a few days ago!
Well enough with the whining… here is my week!
Sunday, August 1
Check out these clouds!
Monday, August 2
Assembling my reference material for Disciple class. I am also waiting on a Bible Dictionary that I have ordered form Amazon.com.
Tuesday, August 3
The DD was dealing with a serious case of boredom, so she pulled out the cookbooks and whipped up some chocolate soufflé's. Note to self keep an eye our for soufflé ramekins at the goodwill or wal mart. They were tasty but not necessarily traditional soufflés as the only small individual baking vessels we had were these French onion soup dishes.
Later that evening it was Movie Night!
After many months of procrastinating the Hubs finally figured out how to link the Wii up to the internet. Our new favorite thing these days is the “Watch Instantly” function offered by Netflix.
You just point and click and you get all the instant movies you can handle. There are some newly released movies but there is a huge selection of old television shows as well as lots of oldies, classics, action adventure, romantic comedies and on and on and on. For a movie lover like myself it has been problematic as I have to watch myself or I could rapidly loose myself to constant movie watching.
Love It! Love It! Love It!!
So far we have watched 2012, Angles and Demons, The Proposal and I have lots of really good old classics that I have stored away in my queue for a rainy day.
Wednesday, August 4
After a trip to Office Depot I settled down at the kitchen table to assemble my Disciple Notebooks for the members of my class.
Thursday, August 5
I spent the morning in hell…more affectingly termed High School Registration. If you would like to spend a few moment there yourself you can read about the fun here!
Friday, August 6
I was so traumatized by my experience of High School orientation that I think I just forgot to take any pictures.
Saturday, August 7
I hit the jack pot the other day at the grocery store. I picked up three packages of baby back ribs that had been “Reduced For Quick Sale” (my four favorite words) so I snatched them up and pulled out the old dry rub recipe. We tossed a few ears of corn some fresh zucchini and Portobello mushroom caps on the grill.
Y’all it was real good!
Well that’s it for this week!
For more 365’ers y’all head over to Sara’s and link up!
Blessings
