Be Still and Know...Then and Now

If you are a regular here then you will remember several weeks ago I won the new Kindle Fire ! So far I have thoroughly enjoyed it! I have discovered several websites that offer free books every day and my library is growing daily. I currently have about 50 books. I have read three and I am currently working my way through The Count of Monte Cristo. Pixel of Ink is a great site, if you join their Facebook page you receive daily updates of all the free books they are offere for the day. Another great site is Ereader News Today , they offer free books as well. Inspired Reads is a great site for Christian book for free also! So being link up through Facebook with all three sites give me a wealth of daily choices for tons of free books. Amazon.com also has a lot of free downloads as well. Inquiring mind want to know…if I have sent someone a friend request on Facebook and I see that they have recently accepted a request from someone on my friend list but have not responded to mine what does that say? I logged out this morning pondering… Do they not want to be friends with me? Is this a cyber dis? Why do I care? I could theoretically live the rest of my life and be very happy and never cross this person’s path ever again. It’s not like we even run in the same circles or have any outside connections beyond going to the same church. On rare occasions running in to each other when I am out and about grocery shopping or just running the occasional errand. It feels like a dis. As weekends go this one was very busy. Friday was party prep at skoots1mom ’s house. Saturday was party day and my anniversary, such that it was with the hubs out of town! He is returning home on Thursday of this week (hopefully) and you can bet that there is a date night planned in the very near future to celebrate together! Sunday morning I took the stares. Now this may not sound like a big deal to y’all, and in reality just taking the stairs once is not really that big of a deal but it’s a start. A new re-beginning to adding more activity into my day!  Sunday the DD was commissioned at church for her upcoming mission trip to Mexico! How much time do you spend blogging? How many blog’s do you follow? Do you read every blog you follow every day? Do you use your Google reader or Blogroll to follow a blog? I just counted. The number of blog’s in my blog roll is 66 the number of blog’s in my Google reader is 26. All of the blog’s in my Google reader are in my blogroll. If I unfollow someone's blog from Google reader but still keep them in my blogroll is that rude? You know us southern girls, it’s all about  being polite! With 66 blog in my blog roll I just can’t get to every one every day. I give my blog roll a once over in the morning and pick the post titles that jump out at me. If I have a boat load of time on my hands and have nothing else pressing I will from time to time try to make it down the entire list but that hardly ever happens. Well after several long evenings with lap top positioned on my knee and ignoring the television and my family I have finally put the finishing touches on my "I see what you're saying" video.  I have to confess to experiencing moment of obsession over these last few day as I assembled all my necessary pictures and clips, but I also have to share that I now feel like Steven Spielberg as I learned to maneuver around my Movie Maker program.  We all wait with great anticipation for Tuesday to see what everyone has put together. Now on to a completely unrelated topic.  To answer a question that few of you who commented on my "Female-No Alarm" post had. Much to my dismay I never was able to find out exactly what "Female - No Alarm!" actually meant.  It remains a mystery! The world - or me may never know! Blessings Robin
