If you're as dry as that picture, I think I would put a little water on it!! Seriously, I have been feeling like that picture, too. I wonder if it is the let down that sometimes follows Christmas. My problem is that I can't seem to get my act together and start moving forward!!
Actually, I've been known to pamper myself as if I have the flu when "nothing times" show up. I have them less-and-less as I age, but I have them. No fun.
Sometimes the Lord shows up in ways I'd have otherwise missed. Sometimes it's a good friend.
You wait! You are funny! It's the dry times in our life when God works under the surface. Check out the background of this Blog ...and I've never seen a Christmas Cactus in person - your photos kinda make me want to get one. ~esthermay
I was mentally kicking and screaming as the sun came up on our last day. As condo's go, I have to share that being the spoiled woman that I am I found several deficits in my surroundings. I began to think of the similarities between the two women in the book and all of you, my fellow bloggers. As members of this unique internet community we enter into each other lives as we read each others posts, as we comment, share encouraging words or just a well needed giggle now and then. But what I enjoyed as I read this book was the depiction of the friendship these two women shared. They had been intimately involved...
