To me, the scripture is not only for the physical things but "no sheep in the stall" could also be that we will not let our selves become discourged when we don't see "sheep" from our labors in the fold.
Our part is to do our best and leave the result with God and rejoice in HIM!

maryShirley Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13890379133765103494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7710381019162583843.post-59275064145211313042008-08-14T17:31:00.000-04:002008-08-14T17:31:00.000-04:00Robin, I ran across that Scripture in Habakkuk the...Robin, I ran across that Scripture in Habakkuk the other day. Can't remember if it was in my blog or just in some of my reading, but it touched me as deeply then as it does now. No matter how bad my life may be, it is a blessing from God. Job's comment about whether or even if God were to slay him, he would still hope in Him, comes to mind here. Yes, even our deaths will be blessings because we hope in so much more. There is nothing anyone can do to us. Nothing lasting that is. Cling to His promises and recognize His blessings. In this trial, let us not fail to grasp His blessing because it is there for us to experience. No matter what comes to us from the fallen world, God is there to support and deliver us.

YSIC
Marj
http://gdlvr.blogspot.comgodloverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02142857191507004530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7710381019162583843.post-23907882642549924102008-08-14T17:27:00.000-04:002008-08-14T17:27:00.000-04:00Robin, I ran across that Scripture in Habakkuk the...Robin, I ran across that Scripture in Habakkuk the other day. You wrote something about peri-menopause

I am in the throes of peri-menopause... I can't call it menopause yet, but it sure feels like it. I was told you have to not have a cycle for a year for it to be full blown menopause. I never knew hormones were so powerful.

I feel your pain.

Just wanted you to know I understand.

JulieJuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13553121852669901186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7710381019162583843.post-62052662532219614612008-08-12T10:48:00.000-04:002008-08-12T10:48:00.000-04:00Amen, sister.
