Thanks for calling and...It was absolutely awesome! Thanks for calling and reminding me to take a look. Barry and I both went out several times over the course of about 45 minutes. He was able to get some pictures, too. We were looking through binoculars and I was amazed at the detail of the moon that we were able to see. There was a contrast of reddish/orange of the blocked out portion to a brilliant white of the remaining portion before the total eclipse. It reminded me of what we read in BSF this week about the transfiguration - the brilliant white and His face like the sun shining in brilliance.
