Project 365 ~ Week 50

I got four out of seven this week, I did some more Christmas shopping and I have a few more things to get and some stocking stuffers and then I will be done with my shopping. Yea for me!

So lets get on with my week.

No pictures on Sunday or Monday:(

Tuesday, December 11

I was out in the backyard and I noticed that not only did I have some new leaf lettuce but I was super excited to see a very small head of lettuce in the works in my salad patch! I will be picking this very soon…the Hubs can’t wait.

Wednesday, December 12

I broke out the heels for the Hubs office Christmas party. Thankfully it was a short party and I was not walking around in them for very long. Y’all I am not a Foo Foo girl.

Thursday, December 13

I scored some really almost new looking books at Goodwill the other day. I found this one. It was a blast from my past. I simply could not walk out with out this childhood memory on my cart. It had been so long since I had read this book I had forgotten the story line. Y’all it’s about a Hen that plants a wheat seed and then grows it, harvests it, grind it up and makes a loaf of bread.

Hmmmm very interesting that as a child I like a book a bout a gardening and bread baking hen!

Saturday, December 15

I spent a few minutes wrapping gifts on Saturday morning. Regretfully I need to make a run to Wal-Mart as I do not have enough tissue paper to finish all my wrapping. On a more festive note I just think a tree isn't full finished until it has a few presents under it.

I think I am going to have my Christmas Brunch and Dinner in my newly equipped Dinning Room. I am even going to pull out some of my grandmother dishes. I figured that since it was the holidays that I would pull out a few pieces of her silver. I love her silver pieces but you know silver….it needs to be polished

Ooh I love the silver too! And that's too funny about the Little Red Hen. What does it say about me that one of my favorite books as a child was about a witch who made pancakes?
